We take a look at the colourful, fresh Kati Grill
Jaspreet started Kati Grill in 2011, having emigrated to New Zealand 3 years prior. The concept of Kati Grill was well established across the globe but not in NZ. Fueled with entrepreneurial ambition and a desire for a different type of Indian food offering, Kati Grill was born. The concept originally came from Calcutta and is often called 'Frankies' or Mumbai Burrito, Bombay Burrito, or Roti wrap.
Kati Grill make delicious Indian Kati rolls, as well as offering variety of authentic, mouth-watering Indian dishes.
You can visit their K Road restaurant for a tasty lunch or dinner suitable for vegetarians, vegans and meat-eaters alike. It is a healthier take on Indian food, although you can add some Masala spiced crinkle cut fries as an indulgent side of you are in the mood.

Modern Indian Street Food Catering For Your Next event
Owner Jaspreet (pictured bottom right) works incredibly hard managing her role as a mother and businesswoman. It is an inspiring personal journey from new immigrant to restaurateur. Now, she is adding a new exciting chapter to the Kati Grill story offering a unique catering service for corporate events, weddings and parties. Their catering menu delivers fresh modern Indian street food and features grazing table and canape options. We hear rumours of a food truck in the near future......
We really enjoyed their Aloo Tikki Chaat - Potato cakes, topped with spiced chickpeas, date and tamarind chutney & Coriander Mint chutney. The dish is vegetarian and delicious. It has an unusual base of a hash brown but it works.
